MUD Studio Knoxville provides a perfect mix between classroom and retail. Today’s beauty professionals need to know more than hair and skincare. They must be competent in all aspects of their craft. For this reason, Make-up Designory has created a group of classes in makeup artistry to help students of cosmetology, esthetics and licensed professionals meet the full needs of their clientele.
MUD Studio courses give students the opportunity to enhance their knowledge, add to their passion for makeup artistry and help reposition working professionals towards a new career.
bridal make-up artist
This program is designed for the person looking to start a career as a make-up artist for brides and events. The program incorporates all elements of the Level I Make-up Artist program and we include airbrush and bridal make-up.
This program meets Tuesday through Friday and consists of 60 sessions for a total of 140 clock hours and consists of the following courses:

level two make-up artist
This program focuses on make-up for print, film, and television. This course includes a full day with a professional photographer to build your portfolio.
This program meets Tuesday through Friday and consists of 10 sessions. It requires Level I certification (you must have already completed our bridal make-up artist program to take this course) and consists of the following courses (*All hours can transfer to NY or LA locations):

MUD Professional Kit
Graduates leave equipped with all of the professional brushes, MUD make-up, and artistry tools required to perform theatrical, airbrush and professional make-up applications.
